Goalkeeper Alexander Nübel has officially signed a new contract with Bayern Munich. His new agreement with the club is set to run until the summer of 2029.

Nübel is currently having a successful season at Stuttgart on loan. Bayern's management is pleased with his progress and sees him as the future main goalkeeper for the team after Manuel Neuer's retirement.

It is known that Nübel will continue to play for Stuttgart next season. There, he will gain the necessary experience of playing in the Champions League since Stuttgart is currently in third place, seven points ahead of Borussia Dortmund.

Nübel joined Bayern from Schalke as a free agent in the summer of 2020. However, he only spent the 2020/21 season at Bayern, playing in just 4 matches. After that, the German goalkeeper spent two years on loan at Monaco, where he had a regular place in the starting lineup.

In the current season, Nübel has played 29 matches in all competitions, keeping 12 clean sheets.
