With the arrival of Vincent Kompany as Bayern head coach, some players might have been pointed at the door, but the Belgian is still counting on some performers.

One of them is 19-year-old winger Matthijs Thel. Fabrizio Romano reports that Munich see him as a key part of the project, with Kompany counting on him. Tel himself is also happy in the Bayern squad and working with the Belgian is a pleasure for him.

He also recently extended his contract with the Munich club until 2029 and both parties have no intention of parting ways. Romano also emphasises that English clubs have been interested in Tel.

By the age of 19, the winger has already managed to play 69 matches for Bayern, in which he scored 16 goals and gave six assists. Transfermarkt values him at 40 million euros.
