Bayern have found midfield reinforcements in 2. Bundesliga

Despite the uncertainty surrounding the name of their head coach in the summer, Bayern Munich are planning purchases in the summer transfer window and reinforcements the reigning German champions have found in the second Bundesliga.

Rudi Galetti reports that the Recordmeister have advanced in talks with Schalke over the transfer of 17-year-old centre midfielder Assan Ouedraogo. Bayern have offered the player a five-year contract and he seems ready to accept it.

There is also reported interest from RB Leipzig and Eintracht, as well as Liverpool, but the English club are making no move to transfer the midfielder.

Assan made his big season debut this season, playing 11 matches and 592 minutes on the pitch for Schalke in the second Bundesliga. In them, he scored one goal and two assists. Transfermarkt values the midfielder at eight million euros.
