Bayern Munich has reached a complete agreement with Bayer Leverkusen's leading defender, Jonathan Tah.

According to journalist Florian Plettenberg, the parties have agreed on a contract until 2029.

It is expected that Bayer will not obstruct the player's departure. Negotiations between the clubs are expected to commence shortly.

The 28-year-old Tah has been with Bayer since 2015, when the club paid Hamburg nearly €10 million for his transfer. Last season, one of the Bundesliga's top defenders played 48 matches in all competitions and scored six goals.

Previously, it was reported that Bayer wants to keep the defender but is willing to consider offers starting from €20 million. Tah's contract with the "pharmacists" expires in a year, in the summer of 2025.

The defender himself is ready to leave Leverkusen, but only for a move to one of Europe's top 10 clubs.
