Bayern has made a sensational decision on their star. What are the club up to?

Bayern has recently made attempts to keep defender Alphonso Davies for longer, but the Munich club have decided to do something somewhat unexpected.

It was thought that the Recordmeister with the Canadian wanted to avoid the situation that happened to David Alaba three years ago when he left for Real Madrid as a free agent, but according to Sky Sports Deustchland, Bayern's view is now different.

The Munich club admits the possibility of repeating this scenario: not selling Davies in the summer transfer window, but letting him serve another year of his contract.

It is believed that the 23-year-old defender's kit at the start of the new season will be a predisposing factor in determining whether Bayern will give him an improved contract.

If Munich fails to reach a consensus on a new deal with Davies, he will leave the team as a free agent and the club will not earn a cent on him.

As it becomes known from the media, a great interest in the 23-year-old Canadian is shown by Real Madrid.
