During the winter transfer window, Bayern Munich expressed interest in Chelsea winger Mykhailo Mudryk. The German club turned their attention to the Ukrainian player following a serious knee injury to forward Kingsley Coman, which left them in need of a winger, as reported by The Athletic.

However, the German champions opted to expedite the transfer of Bryan Zaragoza from Granada, securing him on loan initially with plans for a permanent move in the summer, as previously agreed.

Mykhailo Mudryk has encountered challenges since his transfer to Chelsea from Shakhtar Donetsk for £89 million in January 2023. The Ukrainian player has scored only four goals and provided four assists in 41 matches for the London team. This has made it difficult for him to secure a spot in the starting lineup.

Mudryk's contract, signed just a year ago, extends for eight and a half years until 2031. Chelsea successfully outbid Arsenal for the rights to sign the talented Ukrainian winger.
