Details: The club’s sporting director, Max Eberl, confirmed earlier reports that the "Rekordmeister" intends to extend the contract of 38-year-old goalkeeper Manuel Neuer until 2026. Notably, as mentioned by Florian Plettenberg, the exact timeline for signing the new deal remains unclear.

Quote: "Both sides would be happy if this matter were already settled. I can’t say when it will happen. Negotiations are on the right track. It’s just a matter of finalizing the details," Eberl said at a press conference.
