Bayern and Adidas unveil special jersey to celebrate club’s anniversary

Bayern Munich and their technical sponsor Adidas have introduced a special jersey to mark the club’s 125th anniversary.

Details. The anniversary kit symbolizes both the history and present of the Munich club. The jersey is designed in the traditional red color with gold branding and features the iconic adidas Originals trefoil logo. It boasts an elegant design that blends elements deeply rooted in the club’s history and DNA with a modern yet classic look. Additionally, a special anniversary crest has been created, incorporating elements from the club’s statutes, the shape of the original crest, and the Bavarian laurel wreath.

To commemorate the occasion, exclusive jerseys with the number 5 will be made available for sale. This is a tribute to Bayern legend Franz Beckenbauer, for whom the number was permanently retired.

The men’s first team will debut the jersey in their home match against Bochum on March 8, while Bayern’s women’s team will wear it in their key clash against Wolfsburg on March 14.
