Bayer Leverkusen has not yet won the Bundesliga title, but the city authorities have already decided to honor the achievements of the team's head coach, Xabi Alonso, in a unique way.

Starting from yesterday, the road leading to the team's stadium, BayArena, is named in honor of the Spanish coach - "Xabi-Alonso-Alle."

To win the title, Bayer just needs to defeat Werder Bremen in today's home match. This club has never before become the champion of Germany.

Just a reminder, Bayer has not lost a single match in all competitions this season. Their unbeaten streak now stands at 42 games. In the German Cup, the "pharmacists" have reached the final, where they will face the modest Kaiserlautern. In the first leg of the Europa League quarter-finals, the Bundesliga leaders defeated West Ham 2-0.
