Bayer Leverkusen Open Talks to Sign Rangers Defender Emmanuel Fernandez

Bayer Leverkusen have reportedly begun official talks to sign Rangers' Nigerian defender Emmanuel Fernandez.

According to an exclusive report from Ekrem KONUR, Rangers are said to be demanding a fee around €25M-€30M for the Nigerian defender Emmanuel Fernandez. The report further states that West Ham and Atalanta are also watching

It is also understood that official talks are expected to begin with Leverkusen, who are described as determined to complete a deal.

The 24-year-old enjoyed a remarkable campaign with Rangers following his arrival from League One club Peterborough United last summer.

The Nigeria international was named Rangers’ Player of the Season and was also included in the PFA Team of the Season.
