Bayer Leverkusen forward Adam Hložek has declined an offer from Premier League newcomers Leicester City, reports Florian Plettenberg.
The striker will continue his career at another Bundesliga club, Hoffenheim. The 22-year-old forward has decided to join Hoffenheim, where he may sign a contract until 2028 or 2029.
The transfer fee will be between €17-18 million, which would be a club record for Hoffenheim.
Negotiations for a permanent deal are nearing completion, with only the details of bonus payments left to finalize.
In the past season, Hložek participated in 36 matches for Bayer but played only 1,011 minutes. The 22-year-old Czech forward scored seven goals and provided five assists.
