The "Pharmacists" are looking to bolster their squad with a young defender.
Details: Renowned insider Fabrizio Romano reported on his X page that Bayer have set their sights on the young "Scousers" centre-back Jarell Quansah.
It is reported that the offer for Quansah will be separate and not linked to a potential transfer of Florian Wirtz to Liverpool, with the possible fee estimated at around €40 million.
Last season, Quansah played 25 matches for Bayer but did not register any goal contributions. Nevertheless, his toughness and reliability at the back convinced Bayer’s management that he is a key target for the upcoming campaign.
