Bassey and Ugochukwu Strike, Chukwueze Assists in Fulham Victory

Calvin Bassey and Lesley Ugochukwu scored as Fulham beat Burnley 3–2 in a thrilling Premier League match at Turf Moor on Saturday. Fulham started strongly, with Emile Smith Rowe finishing from close range for an early lead. Burnley replied when Ugochukwu converted inside the box after a Josh Cullen pass.

Bassey restored Fulham’s advantage before the break, powering home a Harry Wilson cross for his first league goal since February. After halftime, Samuel Chukwueze supplied a fine assist for Wilson to make it 3–1. Burnley struck late, but Fulham defended well to secure victory. Bassey is included in Eric Chelle’s AFCON squad ahead of Nigeria’s pre-tournament preparations.
