The renovation of Barcelona's main stadium, Camp Nou, is experiencing some delays, but the club continues to plan large-scale events at the revamped arena.
Details: According to The Guardian, Spain's bid is a favorite to become the host nation for the Rugby World Cup in 2035.
If Spain's bid ultimately wins, the tournament's final could be held at Camp Nou. Matches are also expected to take place at Santiago Bernabéu in Madrid.
Spain has never hosted a Rugby World Cup before. The tournament will be held in Australia in 2027 and in the USA in 2031.
Reminder: It was previously reported that Barcelona plans to return to Camp Nou next season, albeit with reduced capacity.
