Barcelona continues their preparations for a crucial match against Espanyol, which is not only important but also a derby. On the eve of the game, troubling news emerged from the Catalan giants' camp.
Details: During training, while working on match situations, Robert Lewandowski went in for a challenge with Pau Cubarsí and struck him on the knee. Cubarsí immediately went down on the pitch, clearly in pain after the clash.
According to Diario Sport, Barcelona's medical staff had to intervene, and for Cubarsí, the training session ended prematurely.
Reminder: Barcelona can still clinch the La Liga title even before the match against Espanyol, which is set for Thursday. All they need is for Mallorca not to lose to Real Madrid on Wednesday.
