Barcelona will rival Liverpool in the race for the leader of Shakhtar Donetsk

According to information published by Italian media and cited by Mundo Deportivo, Barcelona is interested in Shakhtar's midfielder Georgiy Sudakov. The player himself is interested in the possibility of joining the club after the end of the current season and would prefer to play in the Premier League or La Liga.

It is also reported that Liverpool is the main contender to sign the player, but Barcelona is ready to compete with the English club. Previous reports by Fabrizio Romano claimed that Sudakov's release clause in his contract is €150 million, but according to Ukrainian media, it is not included at all.

In addition, Manchester City and Bayern Munich are also interested in the player. However, Barcelona, reportedly, cannot afford to pay even €50 million for the player, which, as claimed, could suit Shakhtar.

In the current season, Sudakov has played 23 matches for the reigning Ukrainian champions, scoring four goals and providing one assist.
