Barcelona have already reopened Camp Nou, but not at full capacity, and are now looking to continue expanding and secure approval for additional seating.

Details: As reported by Ángel Pérez and Jordi Cardero, the Catalan club has submitted documents to the city council to obtain permission to increase the stadium’s capacity. If they are granted the 1C licences, capacity would rise from 45,000 to 62,000.

This would include opening the Gol Nord sector, allowing the entire first and second tiers of the stadium to be occupied by fans.

As we reported earlier, centre-back Marc Guéhi has very high salary demands, and Barcelona are not prepared to meet those terms. As a result, a move to the Catalan club should not be expected.

Reminder: Ansu Fati’s future at Monaco is effectively decided, as the club have opted not to keep the 23-year-old Spaniard in their squad.
