Barcelona striker has agreed to a transfer to the Portuguese giants
It's highly unlikely that Barcelona forward Vitor Roque will continue his career at his current club. The only question is where he will move and under what terms.
According to Mundo Deportivo, Roque has already agreed to a transfer to Sporting Lisbon. He is satisfied with all the details of the contract being offered by the Portuguese champions.
Currently, Barcelona's sporting director Deco is in Lisbon. Sporting has proposed a deal worth €20 million plus bonuses. Additionally, Barcelona will retain the right of first refusal to buy Roque back for a predetermined amount, which is still being negotiated between the clubs.
In Barcelona's season opener against Valencia (2-1), Roque was not included in the squad.
Last season, Roque mainly came off the bench, scoring 2 goals in 16 La Liga matches. Barcelona paid Atlético Paranaense €40 million for his transfer in January.
