According to Spanish journalist José Álvarez, "Blaugranas" will not be able to register the player in time for the match against Valencia. There is no chance that Olmo will take the field in this game.

It has previously been reported that Barcelona is struggling to register all of their summer signings, which also includes Álex Valle, Pau Víctor, Iñigo Martínez, Roque, and Pablo Torre.

Additionally, it was reported that Barcelona plans to make three more sales this week to offset the expenses of signing Olmo, as the purchase of the Spanish midfielder has further strained the already limited budget of the “Blaugranas.”
