Barcelona midfielder Gavi has been sidelined for nearly a year, but the club remains confident in his future and is planning to secure his services for many years to come.
Details: According to Fernando Polo, Barcelona is preparing to offer Gavi a new long-term contract in the near future. Gavi himself is reportedly very interested and ready to accept the proposal.
Gavi's current contract with Barcelona runs until the summer of 2026.
Reminder: Gavi tore his ACL on October 1 of last year during Spain's Euro 2024 qualifier against Georgia. He only resumed full training with the team today.
In total, the 20-year-old midfielder has already played 111 matches for Barcelona, scoring 7 goals and providing 14 assists.
