Barcelona in talks with 17-year-old player from Egypt’s Al Ahly

Barcelona have turned their attention to a young player from Egypt’s Al Ahly and are in negotiations with him, although completing the transfer will not be straightforward.

Details: According to Fabrizio Romano, Hamza Abdelkarim and Barcelona are currently in talks. The player wants to move to the Catalan club and play for them.

However, complications could arise with Al Ahly. The issue is that the club are demanding a significant fee for the 17-year-old, which is why the transfer cannot go through at this stage.

In the current season, the player has not featured extensively for the senior team. He has made three appearances across all competitions. His market value, according to Transfermarkt, is €100,000.
