Earlier, we reported about four names of midfielders that Barcelona are considering as potential reinforcements for their defensive midfield. One of them, Everton's Amadou Onana, costs an exorbitant amount of money for the current financial situation of the Catalan club, but the Blaugrana have worked out how to reduce the transfer price.

"Toffees" estimate Onana in 60 million euros. That price could be reduced by 20 million if Everton go to the Championship, which is still a large sum for Barcelona. And then there was a plan that was revealed by Diario Sport. The Catalans could send one of their players to Goodison Park, such as Clement Lenglet, Serginho Dest or Ansu Fati.

The offer to get the French centre-back if Everton sell Jarrad Braithwaite could look quite tempting for the Liverpool club, but it remains to be seen whether Lenglet is ready for a move to Merseyside.
