Barcelona Eyeing Alphonso Davies and Two Promising Defenders
Barcelona has identified the full-back position as a key area for reinforcement next summer, and sporting director Deco has already begun the hunt. The director of the Catalan club is keeping an eye on three players.
Details: According to Sport, Barcelona has reached out to Alphonso Davies' agent to assess the terms of a potential move. The club is reportedly prepared to sign a top-tier player to compete with Alejandro Balde next summer.
The other two options being monitored are Benfica's Álvaro Carreras and Hugo Bueno, who is currently on loan at Feyenoord from Wolverhampton.
Bueno has played 10 matches this season for Feyenoord, providing three assists. Meanwhile, Carreras is enjoying a breakthrough season at Benfica, having scored 4 goals in 16 appearances.
Manchester United has a €20 million buyout option for their former academy player, while Atletico Madrid and Real Madrid are also keeping tabs on him.
Reminder: Deco previously stated that the club is set to extend the contract of central midfielder Pedri in the near future.
