Barcelona defender Eric García attracts new La Liga suitor

It appears likely that Barcelona's central defender Eric García will leave the club this winter, with a new contender emerging for his signature.

Details: According to Radio Catalunya, Real Sociedad has expressed interest in García. The San Sebastián club will compete with Girona for his signing.

It is known that Barcelona’s new head coach, Hansi Flick, does not want to let García go, but his sale could help the club finalize the registration of Dani Olmo and Pau Víctor.

García himself would prefer to stay at Barcelona, but he wants guarantees of increased playing time.

This season, Eric García has played in just 11 La Liga matches, providing one assist. Last season, he spent time on loan at Girona.

Reminder: Earlier today, it was reported that Barcelona's central defender Ronald Araújo informed his teammates that he will leave the club this winter.
