Barcelona could sell the loaned defender in the summer

Barcelona's American defender Sergiño Dest has been on loan for the second season. Last campaign he spent in Milan, and in the current campaign he is playing in PSV. And it seems that the defender will soon find a permanent home.

After such rentals, that's what Dest himself wants:

"I just want to develop and grow where I can play the most. You've also seen it, I've actually managed to resuscitate my career and I want to keep doing that. Wherever my future is, I just want to be able to play and develop."

The defender doesn't rule out the possibility of staying at PSV either, as a €10m pay-off is spelt out in the rental agreement:

"The club is very happy with me and I really like it here. We are doing well as a team, we will play in the Champions League again next season. Everything has to be right and it's up to us to finally organise everything to reach a good agreement," said Dest in a conversation with ESPN.
