Barcelona concerned over Yamal’s poor reception by opposing fans in away matches

Barcelona traveled to face Chelsea and suffered a heavy 0–3 defeat. On top of that, their star Lamine Yamal was met with a hostile reception from the English club’s fans, raising concerns within Barcelona.

Details: According to Diario SPORT, the Catalan club’s management is indeed worried that Yamal is poorly received by rival supporters during away matches.

The club believes Lamine has become “public enemy number one” in football circles. In their last three away games—against Real Madrid, Club Brugge, and Chelsea—he faced particularly negative reactions.

We previously reported that during the Chelsea match, fans repeatedly chanted: “YOU’RE JUST A SHT ESTEVAO, SHT ESTEVAOOOO, YOU’RE JUST A SH*T ESTEVAO.”
