Barcelona are targeting the signing of a midfielder to save money on

Barcelona enter the upcoming transfer window with a difficult financial situation that will prevent the Blaugrana from making multi-million dollar purchases. But, the bosses of the Catalan club managed to find a way out of the difficult situation and make signings in the summer.

Mundo Deportivo sees Real Betis player Guido Rodriguez as the main reinforcement of the midfield line for Barcelona, and, importantly for the Blaugrana, it will be possible to save a lot on his signing, as his contract expires on 30 June this year and the Argentine can be invited as a free agent.

Barcelona made contact with the player back in November, and he could have moved to Catalonia in the winter, but then he was injured and the Blaugrana went into standby mode. However, Rodriguez will still need to be picked up by Napoli, who are also monitoring the situation around the 30-year-old midfielder.
