Barcelona are interested in one of La Liga's most consistent goalkeepers

Barcelona's understudy to Marc-André ter Stegen, Iñaki Peña, is likely to depart the club in the summer. Seeking a spot in the starting lineup, he has garnered interest from several clubs. Therefore, securing a new goalkeeper is among Barcelona's priorities for the summer.

According to Mundo Deportivo, the primary option for Barcelona is the acquisition of the goalkeeper from Rayo Vallecano and the North Macedonian national team, Stole Dimitrievski.

The Spanish champions appreciate not only Dimitrievski's level of play, but also the prospect of signing him on a free transfer. The Macedonian's contract with the Madrid-based club expires in June, and he has no intention of extending it.

Dimitrievski stands as one of La Liga's finest goalkeepers based on save percentage. In the current season, he has featured in 26 matches, conceding 36 goals and keeping a clean sheet on 9 occasions.

Prior to his time at Rayo Vallecano, the Macedonian goalkeeper played for Granada and Gimnàstic Tarragona.
