Barcelona announces two candidates for club president

Barcelona is now preparing for the club presidential elections and has officially announced who will be running for the post.

Details: According to the club’s electoral committee, Joan Laporta and Víctor Font will contest the presidency of Barcelona.

Both candidates were officially recognized after collecting the required number of valid signatures — 2,337.

The election campaign will begin on March 6, with the presidential vote scheduled for March 15, 2026.

It was also reported that concern is growing within the team due to the high number of injured players. The head coach has called for a review of the club’s medical and physical preparation systems.
