Barcelona aims to bring back a star Spanish goalkeeper to La Liga
Barcelona may be considering signing the renowned Spanish goalkeeper, David De Gea.
As reported by Mundo Deportivo, the Catalan club is exploring the possibility of acquiring the former Manchester United goalkeeper on a free transfer.
The 33-year-old De Gea began his career at Atletico Madrid, where he played 84 matches. From 2011 until the summer of 2023, the Spaniard guarded the goal for Manchester United, featuring in 545 matches across all competitions.
Currently, the former Spanish national team goalkeeper, with 45 appearances for the national side, is a free agent following the expiration of his contract with Manchester United.
Previously, it was reported that Saudi club Al-Ittihad has shown interest in Barcelona's first-choice goalkeeper, Marc-Andre ter Stegen.
