Bangladesh Announce Squad for Second Test Against West Indies as Mominul Haque Ruled Out
The Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) has announced their squad for the second Test against the West Indies, scheduled to be played in Sylhet.
Bangladesh were forced to make just one change to their squad for the series-deciding Test after suffering an eight-wicket defeat to West Indies in the opening match of the two-Test series at the Sher-e-Bangla National Stadium in Mirpur on October 31.
Mominul has been ruled out after suffering a head injury while attempting to take a catch at short leg off Joshua Bishop. He was forced to leave the field, with team physiotherapist Bayjedul Islam Khan later confirming signs of concussion.
Jaker Ali was subsequently brought in as his concussion substitute during the first Test and has now retained his place in the squad for the second encounter.
Bangladesh must win the upcoming match to level the series, which gets underway in Sylhet on November 5.
