Bamba Dieng’s move to Amedspor has fallen through! What is the real reason?

Although he was expected in Turkey to finalise his move, the Senegalese striker did not end up travelling there.

Bemba Dieng is no longer expected to join Amedspor in the Turkish Super Lig. The transfer of the Senegalese international, which was on the verge of being finalised, fell through at the last minute on Monday 27 July.

Initial reports of the deal’s collapse claimed that Bamba Dieng had failed his medical. But these claims are false, the Senegalese player himself has retorted.

According to Foot Mercato, Bamba Dieng was on the verge of travelling to Turkey when he reportedly discovered that several conditions negotiated beforehand notably his salary and other terms of the contract had been altered. Consequently, the Senegalese striker decided not to travel to Turkey to sign his contract with Amedspor.

Furthermore, the agents involved in his transfer are said to have sought to increase their commissions by making changes to the terms of Bamba Dieng’s transfer.
