Bamba Dieng will not be extending his contract with FC Lorient
He has informed the French club’s management
With his contract set to expire on 30 June, the Senegalese striker is looking for a new challenge.
After a fine season on a personal level, Bamba Dieng wants to leave Lorient. The player has been the subject of speculation for several weeks and his decision confirms his desire to leave. According to Foot Mercato, the Senegalese international has informed Lorient’s management that he will not be extending his contract.
The French club had, however, been trying for several weeks to convince Dieng to stay. But the striker has decided to leave as a free agent. With FC Lorient this season, Bamba Dieng has scored 16 goals in all competitions.
