Bamba Dieng is heading to Belgrade after failing his medical at Lazio
The Senegalese international is expected to join a SuperLiga club.
Bamba Dieng is having a rollercoaster transfer window. A free agent since his contract with FC Lorient in Ligue 1 expired, the Senegalese striker has faced a string of setbacks in his search for a new club.
The Senegalese player was due to join Amed SK in Turkey a few days ago, but his transfer fell through at the last minute. The same scenario played out this Thursday 20 August with Lazio in Italy.
Although he travelled to Rome for his medical, the Senegalese international failed the examination. A knee problem was detected in Bamba Dieng and his transfer fell through once again.
But this has not deterred the former FC Lorient striker. Immediately after leaving Italy, Bamba Dieng is reported to have set off for Serbia. The Senegalese striker is travelling to Belgrade, where he is expected to sign for Red Star Belgrade. Bamba Dieng is due to undergo his medical on Friday 21 August.
