Bamba Dieng continues his fine form with FC Lorient

The Senegalese striker once again stood out on Saturday 18 April in Ligue 1.

Bamba Dieng continues to make a name for himself in the French league. He once again stood out in the finest possible way on 18 April during matchday 30 of the French Ligue 1. At the Stade du Moustoir, he was one of the key players in Lorient’s 2-0 victory over Marseille. The Senegalese forward scored the second goal of the match to seal his team’s victory.

This goal is Bamba Dieng’s 9th in 18 appearances this season for FC Lorient in Ligue 1. He also has one assist to his name. Since making his debut in the French league during the 2020–21 season with Marseille, the Senegalese forward had never scored more than seven goals in a single Ligue 1 season. But this season, he has already broken his own record with nine goals at this stage of the campaign.
