Bakole misses weigh-in ahead of Parker fight

On Saturday, February 22, boxing fans are set for an exciting fight night in Saudi Arabia. However, a last-minute complication has disrupted the event's preparations.

Details: Daniel Dubois was forced to withdraw from his scheduled fight against Joseph Parker due to illness. Martin Bakole stepped in as a replacement, but he was unable to arrive in time for the official weigh-in ceremony. As of now, Bakole is still en route to Riyadh and will complete his weigh-in later.

Joseph Parker’s last fight took place in March 2024, where he won by unanimous decision against Zhang Zhilei. Bakole’s last fight was in August, where he unexpectedly knocked out the promising heavyweight Jared Anderson.
