Bad news for Papa Amadou Diallo at Norwich City
The Senegalese player's physical problems are not over yet.
Papa Amadou Diallo will once again be sidelined due to a new injury. Having recovered from a previous injury that kept him out for several months before making his return to competition last January, the Senegalese winger is back in the infirmary.
His unavailability, confirmed by his coach Philippe Clement, could last several months. ‘Papa has a muscle injury in his thigh. He will consult a specialist, but his recovery will be a long one,’ said the Belgian Norwich City tactician.
Having arrived at Norwich City last summer from FC Metz, Papa Amadou Diallo has been slowed down. Another muscle injury in September 2025 forced him to stay off the pitch for a long period.
Senegal is still holding its breath for its striker as the FIFA World Cup approaches, with kick-off scheduled for 11 June 2026.
