Bad news for fans: Jackson sidelined until April with injury

Nicolas Jackson missed Chelsea’s last match due to an injury sustained against West Ham, and it now appears that his absence will be longer than expected.

Details: Journalist Matt Law reports that Jackson is likely to be out until late March or early April due to his injury. The forward underwent medical tests on Wednesday, February 12, which revealed that the situation is worse than initially thought.

Chelsea remains the frontrunner to sign Liam Delap from Ipswich Town, with reports suggesting the striker will leave his current club regardless. Delap is also said to be keen on Chelsea’s project.

Meanwhile, Chelsea continues to build for the future and has signed a young prospect from Kazakh club Kairat Almaty. The club officially confirmed that 16-year-old Dastan Satpayev will continue his career with Chelsea. He will officially join the English side in the summer of 2026, once he turns 18.
