Back to his roots! Liverpool starlet on the verge of move to Spanish club
Liverpool midfielder Stefan Bajcetic is on the brink of a return to his boyhood club.
Details: According to reputable insider Fabrizio Romano, Celta Vigo are very close to reaching a personal agreement with Stefan Bajcetic. The parties are ironing out the final details to complete the transfer of the 21-year-old Spanish midfielder from the English side.
This move marks a true homecoming for Bajcetic: the midfielder is a product of Celta's academy, which he left for Liverpool back in late 2020. During the 2024/25 season, the Spanish footballer was on loan at Austrian side Red Bull Salzburg, making 19 appearances across all competitions, before spending the second half of the campaign at Las Palmas in La Liga, where he featured in 14 matches and scored once.
It's worth noting that the reputable portal Transfermarkt values the 21-year-old defensive midfielder at 4 million euros.
