“Back Before the End of the Season” — Marco Silva Confirms Alex Iwobi Could Return at the End of the Season

Fulham manager Marco Silva has confirmed Super Eagles midfielder Alex Iwobi could only return at the end of the season.

The Super Eagles midfielder sustained the injury during the Cottagers 0-0 draw at Brentford last weekend.

Speaking during his press conference ahead of their lunch kickoff game against Aston Villa at the Craven Cottage Stadium, Silva expressed disappointment with the player’s injury.

“Really bad news to lose a player like Alex Iwobi. It’s difficult to say a timescale, but back before the end of the season,” Silva told a press conference on Friday.
