Azam FC does not want to let Florent Ibenge go

The Tanzanian club wants to thwart Mali’s plans.
Florent Ibenge is the frontrunner to take the reins of the Mali national team. The Malian Football Federation is said to have made the Congolese tactician its first choice for the Eagles.
But faced with this interest, Azam FC, the club where Florent Ibenge is currently manager, is not taking it lying down. The Tanzanian club has no intention of letting its Congolese manager go. Azam regards Ibenge as a key figure in its long-term project.
However, Azam FC may still manage to convince Ibenge to stay, as no agreement has yet been reached between the Congolese coach and the Malian Football Federation.
