Ayoub El Kaabi suffers a serious injury following a horrific collision

The Moroccan striker was forced to leave the pitch on a stretcher following a violent collision on Saturday 5 September during the matchday 3 of the Greek Super League.

This is a major blow for Ayoub El Kaabi and his club, Olympiacos. The Moroccan international was involved in a collision with the Volos goalkeeper during the match, which ended in a 1–1 draw.

Footage shows Ayoub El Kaabi clutching his leg and screaming in pain. The Moroccan had just fractured his leg whilst attempting to score a goal.

It is a terrible injury that will keep the Moroccan striker off the pitch for several months. Following this serious injury, Olympiacos responded by expressing their support for Ayoub El Kaabi. The Greek club published a heartfelt message for their striker.
