Australian sailor Matt Wearn won his second career Olympic gold medal in sailing.
The Australian won the gold medal at the 2024 Paris Olympics in the Laser class.
Second place went to Pavlos Kontides from Cyprus, and the bronze medal was awarded to Stefano Peschiera representing Peru.
Wearn is the Olympic champion of the 2020 Tokyo Games. The Australian has also won silver medals at the World Sailing Championships in 2018, 2019, and 2020.
The 2024 Olympics are being held from July 26 to August 11.
