At first glance, golf may seem like one of the safest sports, but young golfer Jeffrey Guan suffered a life-changing injury.

Details: During an am-pro tournament in South Wales, one of the balls struck Guan directly in the eye as he turned toward his clubs after making a shot. Unfortunately, the 20-year-old golfer has permanently lost vision in one eye.

This incident occurred just a week after his debut in the PGA Tour, a lifelong dream of his.

Yet, Guan is not giving up and plans to return to top-level play.

Quote:

"As a kid, I always had a lot of perseverance and persistence. I will continue to work hard and do my best to achieve my dream.

I will be back”.

Guan is a two-time Australian junior amateur champion.

Reminder: Earlier, Donald Trump took a moment to pay tribute to golfer Arnold Palmer during a campaign speech, dedicating 12 minutes to the golfing legend.
