Australia dominated Finland to advance to the final of the Davis Cup 2023


On November 24, the first semifinal match of the 2023 Davis Cup final phase took place on indoor hard courts in Malaga, Spain.
The Australian team predictably defeated the team from Finland. The outcome of the match was decided in two singles matches.
In the first game, Alexei Popyrin defeated Otto Virtanen in two sets.

Thanks to this victory, the Australians advanced to the final of the team tournament. In the battle for the trophy, Australia will face the winners of the match between Italy and Serbia.
