Attack is a priority. Bayern Munich сould target Lille forward Jonathan David
Bayern Munich wants to strengthen its attack and is closely monitoring Lille forward Jonathan David. The Canadian will become a free agent next summer.
Details. The main target for bolstering the attacking line next summer remains Florian Wirtz from Bayer Leverkusen. However, Bayern is not ruling out the possibility of signing several forwards. According to Sky Sports Germany, Bayern is closely following Lille striker Jonathan David, whose contract expires in the summer of 2025.
Bayern’s sporting director, Max Eberl, is a big admirer of David. Additionally, the club is considering the possibility of signing Viktor Djoekere from Sporting. However, David's potential free transfer appears to be a more attractive option.
Reminder. Jonathan David has scored 97 goals in 202 appearances for Lille across all competitions. This season, the Canadian forward has netted 13 goals in 19 matches.
