On Friday, September 13, it was reported that Real Madrid had to cancel concerts planned at the Santiago Bernabéu due to noise complaints from local residents. Los Blancos approached Atlético Madrid with a proposal to hold these events at their stadium, but the Colchoneros declined the offer.

Details: Until at least March 2025, concerts are prohibited at the Santiago Bernabéu. Real Madrid's management has already had to cancel four scheduled concerts but attempted to relocate them to the Civitas Metropolitano, Atlético Madrid's home ground, according to El Confidencial. However, their request was denied.

The reason for Atlético's decision is currently unknown, but Real Madrid will now have to postpone the concerts to a later date.

Reminder: While the artists who were set to perform at the Santiago Bernabéu won’t be moving to Civitas Metropolitano, Los Blancos will be heading there later this month. The first Madrid derby of the 2024/25 season is scheduled for September 29 at Atlético’s home stadium.
