Atletico striker to undergo medical examination ahead of Chelsea transfer at the end of the week
Chelsea continues to be exceptionally active in the transfer market this summer.
According to Nicolo Schira, the London club has finalized another transfer deal, this time for Atlético Madrid's forward, Samu Omorodion.
Chelsea will pay €35 million for the transfer of the Spanish youth international. Omorodion, currently competing at the Paris Olympics, will arrive in London on Saturday for a medical examination.
However, the transfer will only be completed once Atlético Madrid receives Conor Gallagher from Chelsea and secures the signing of Julián Álvarez from Manchester City. Both of these deals are in their final stages.
Last season, Samu Omorodion had a successful loan spell at Alavés, where he scored 8 goals and provided 1 assist in 34 matches.
It is worth noting that Chelsea finished sixth in the league last season but will play in the Europa Conference League as Manchester United won the FA Cup.
