Atlético striker risks missing both Champions League games against Borussia Dortmund

Forward Memphis Depay from Atlético will likely miss both matches against Borussia Dortmund in the Champions League quarterfinals.

According to AS, the Dutch forward has missed the last two training sessions at Atlético due to a muscle injury. Initial tests indicate that he will be out for 3 to 4 weeks.

It is known that this is a recurrence of an old injury that caused Depay to miss two months in the fall of 2023.

The first match between Atlético and Borussia Dortmund will take place on Wednesday, April 10.

In the current season, Depay has scored 18 goals and provided 4 assists in 28 matches for Atlético across all competitions.
