Atletico midfielder intends to leave the club. His new team is known

The nine-year relationship between midfielder Saul and Atletico Madrid will come to an end this summer.

According to Matteo Moretto, the Colchoneros do not see the 29-year-old player in their plans, and despite the fact that his contract with the club runs until July 2026, the capital club intends to say goodbye to him.

Saul's new club is also known. It should be Sevilla. Negotiations between the parties are still ongoing, but it is reported that the 29-year-old midfielder will sign a three-year contract with the Andalusian club.

Intermittently, Saul, who is an Atletico pupil, represented the Colcioneros for nine years, from 2014-2021 and 2022-2024. He spent the 2021/2022 season on loan at Chelsea London, who, however, did not dare to buy the midfielder's contract.
